Global miner with hard and soft rock operations nationally is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to manage, lead and improve the maintenance of plant, equipment and assets of the mining operations offshore.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of engineering projects and services across the entire operation.

You duties include:

• Responsible for the implementation of SAP across the engineering function.
• Initiate and develop continuous improvement projects across all functions / operations on site.
• Change management issues.
• Manage and develop the engineering team.
• Drive health and safety initiatives across the mining operation.

Requirements:

• Degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is essential.
• 15+ years industry experience is needed.
• Fixed plant experience is essential - mining, power or manufacturing industries considered.
• Project management experience is essential.
• Competent in business improvement methodology.
• Commercially astute.
• Strong management is essential with effective communication skills across all levels.
