Water Infrastructure Group (WIGroup), a division of the Tyco International is a leader in the design, building, operation and maintenance services of water / wastewater treatment, recycling and distribution infrastructure. With a range of exciting current projects with expansion and new projects on the horizon, WIGroup is seeking to appoint a qualified, experienced & motivated Senior Chemical / Process Engineer to its Adelaide based team.

As Senior Chemical / Process Engineer, supported by a team of technical and engineering specialists, you will be responsible for:

• the investigation, option analysis, reporting, design and provision of technical advice for construction for all types of technologies for water and wastewater projects
• providing technical direction & leadership in process design to the team
• assist in driving projects to achieve cost control, the highest technical standards and timely delivery of projects 
• provide high level technical support relating to membrane technologies (MBR, MF, UF, RO)
• preparation & presentation of solution based tenders and proposals
• planning, scheduling & assignment of activities
• adhere to compliance management - OHSE, Quality, Environmental legislation etc

You will possess:

• appropriate tertiary qualifications in Engineering 
  (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or combined degree ensuring eligibility or registration as Chartered Professional Engineer with the Institute of Engineers - Australia) 
• recognition within the Water / Environmental Services Industry (preferably water/waste water  reclamation & treatment)
• extensive experience documenting process design for water and
  wastewater treatment
• knowledge of hydraulics, pipelines, pumping stations, valves and other related water infrastructure 
• strong technical / mechanical background in process applications including mining, oil & gas, power, chemical and water processing industries
  (Control Valve experience would also be to your advantage)
• commercial nous – Cost control, project management, CAPEX/OPEX
• an analytical approach
• time management and prioritising skills
• strong commercial nous relating to contracts, budgeting and legislative requirements
• a commitment to Management, Compliance & Legislative reporting

Based in Adelaide, the role will involve a regular hands on site presence with interstate and potential overseas travel.
